Permit Coordinator
Ann Garcia joined PDI after working for the City of San Antonio Development Services Department for over 9 years. She has experience in researching historical permits, issuing Certificate of Occupancy, retrieving plan review and inspection status, and routing plans for commercial and residential review, as well as processing new permit application submittals. Her involvement with the different departments and areas of service within Development Services give her a behind-the-scenes understanding of the development process.
Since joining PDI, her project experience includes site work and foundation permits, minor office and retail interior finish-outs, office buildings, apartment complexes, and school facilities. Ms. Garcia’s experience is not limited to the plan review process. Clients often rely on her skills to resolve inspection issues and assist with close-out of a project for issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. Ms. Garcia is also involved in the Real Estate Council of San Antonio Development Process Task Force which meets regularly with CoSA staff in order to keep abreast of upcoming policies and procedures.
