Mr. Crisler has experience in a wide range of fire protection areas which include fire suppression systems, fire detection systems and building systems integration. He is also proficient in computer-aided design in a variety of formats. He has been involved in many projects which require working knowledge of the National Fire Codes, Uniform Building and Fire Codes, and Standard Building and Fire Protection Codes.

Related field experience includes knowledge and involvement with sprinkler and alarm system installation, maintenance and testing. He has experience with design and installation of specialty systems such as HVAC integration, building management, communications and security. Jeff has supervised and assisted in an array of projects utilizing several technologies. Examples include design of fire protection systems for warehouses, hotels, aircraft hangers and fuel storage facilities. Specialty system designs include maximum security penitentiaries, hospitals and various institutional facilities.

His invaluable knowledge of the installation of fire protection systems and building construction allows him to perform site evaluations to document existing conditions and create “as built” drawings for clients. Once the existing system has been evaluated, PDI can provide recommendations regarding potential upgrades and modifications needed to suit the changing needs of tenants or building owners.

Mr. Crisler is responsible for assisting the engineering staff in the design and specification of automatic sprinkler and fire alarm systems. Once a project has been awarded, Mr. Crisler works with the client and the fire protection subcontractors in the construction administration phase to ensure that the system installed is done so in accordance with national standards, construction specifications, and local code requirements. Additionally, Mr. Crisler performs fire hydrant flow tests to determine the available water supply on project sites. With this data, he can model the necessary infrastructure to support proposed construction and on-site utilities. Mr. Crisler’s peripheral duties include the acting capacity of senior cad draftsman.

Mr. Crisler was responsible for installation and design of fire alarm systems and various types of special systems (e.g., Voice Intercom, Nurse Call, Radio Page, Security, etc.). His experience includes design, supervision and installation of systems for privately owned facilities plus, state and federal institutions. Responsibilities also included system analysis, testing and trouble shooting.

Mr. Crisler’s duties included the installation and design of various types of fire sprinkler systems. His experience included extensive work in the field, site inspection and system design for public facilities and institutions. (e.g., High Rise office buildings, Hospitals, Manufacturing, Warehouse, etc.). During his employment, Mr. Crisler was extremely successful in retrofit designs for existing facilities of historic value.
