Protection Development, Incorporated (PDI), was founded in 1985 as a Texas Business Corporation by John R. Cochrane and Robert C. Andrews, Jr. Committed to life safety and fire protection engineering excellence, Cochrane and Andrews, both graduates of the University of Maryland ’s world-renowned fire protection engineering program, saw a need for a dedicated, fire protection engineering practice in San Antonio. They founded their firm on the principles of precision, dependability, integrity and customer service. Both Andrews and Cochrane became licensed by the State of Texas as Professional Engineers, both specializing in the fire protection branch of engineering. PDI went on to become a Registered Professional Engineering firm in Texas. |
